Description
The meeting of two mountain cultures.
Marmolada is born from the history of Dolomites Ski: the meeting of two territories, two experiences and two complementary ways of experiencing the mountains.
Walter Pederiva, a Ladin ski instructor from Vigo di Fassa, carries on a family tradition of ski instructors that has reached its seventh generation. His experience preserves the culture of the Dolomites, the knowledge of snow and a deep connection with the forest and the land.
Umberto Contrini, ski instructor and mechanical engineer, brings the culture of the Contrini family from Gölem, in Val Trompia: a mountain tradition that meets technical expertise, design and materials science.
From these experiences comes a handcrafted ski, made with wood from the forests of Paneveggio and constructed without Titanal. Tradition, territory and technique meet in a product that expresses the history of those who imagined it.
«L’anima del bosch sot i pie.»
The soul of the forest beneath your feet.
Character and construction
Marmolada represents the most versatile side of the Dolomites Ski collection. The 78.5 mm center is paired with a radial wood core, designed to distribute loads evenly and maintain a consistent edge grip as snow conditions change.
It is dedicated to those seeking versatility and precision in their skiing.
