Booking conditions

These terms and conditions apply to lessons, days, and experiences with SCIA Ski Life Coaches for the 2026/27 season. The specific terms of each booking are set out in the proposal.

1. Booking. Requests must be submitted at least 48 hours before the date of the experience. Requests made with less notice will only be accepted if a coach is available.

2. Participants. Private lessons and days include 1–2 people; for three or more, the supplement indicated in the price list applies, up to a maximum of 6 people of similar ability. Experiences include up to 4 people; for five or more, the supplement applies. Children up to 12 years old participate free of charge.

3. Confirmation, deposit and balance. The booking is confirmed upon payment of a deposit of 50% of the total. The balance is payable to the Ski Life Coach on the day of the experience.

4. Cancellation by the customer. Free cancellation up to 15 days before: the deposit will be refunded. After this period, the deposit will be retained. In the event of a no-show, the full amount is payable.

5. Bad weather and lifts. Rain, snow, wind or poor visibility do not in themselves entitle the customer to cancel: if the lifts are open, skiing will continue, and the Ski Life Coach will adapt the itinerary, area and pace. If the lifts in the area are closed, a new date will be scheduled; if this is not possible within the season, the deposit will be refunded.

6. Helicopter and weather. If the flight is cancelled due to weather, the flight fee will be refunded; the ski day will be charged at the full-day price list price.

7. Itineraries. Sellaronda, Giro della Grande Guerra and Marmolada depend on the opening of lifts and connections. If the tour cannot be completed, the coach will propose an alternative itinerary on the same day, without a refund.

8. Ability and safety. The coach may change or stop the itinerary if the participants' ability or the conditions do not allow it. In this case, no refund is provided.

9. Coach unavailability. If the coach is unable to attend, SCIA will propose another Ski Life Coach. If the customer does not accept, the amount paid will be refunded in full.

10. Delays. The duration of the experience starts at the agreed time. The coach will wait for 30 minutes; the end time will not be extended.

11. Five-day bookings. Each day is subject to rules 5 and 7. A day lost due to closed lifts will be rescheduled or refunded.

12. Corporate snow day. Free cancellation up to 7 days before; after this period, 50% of the total is payable.

13. Bookings through hotels, concierges or tour operators. The same terms and conditions apply. If a booking is cancelled and the customer is refunded, no commission is payable.

14. Third-party services. Ski passes, rentals, catering, transfers and flights are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective provider. For helicopter experiences, the terms and conditions of the operator indicated in the proposal also apply.
