1. General information

The website skilifecoach.it is operated by SCIA – SKI LIFE COACH ITALY ASSOCIATION (“SCIA”, “we”, “us”).

The website presents the Ski Life Coaches' services and SCIA products (uniform and skis). No purchases or payments are made on the website: product and service pages are there to help you get to know them and to send us a request for information or availability.

These Terms govern the use of the website and, where applicable, purchases of products concluded with SCIA after a request sent from the website. The mandatory rights of consumers under Italian and European Union law remain unaffected.

3. Information requests

Sending a form from the website is not an order or a binding offer to purchase.

We normally reply within 24 hours with availability, price, delivery costs and times, and payment methods. The contract is concluded only when you confirm our proposal in writing.

4. Products and prices

We aim to describe our products as accurately as possible; images are for illustration only and colours and materials may differ slightly from what you see on screen.

Prices on the website are in euros and include VAT. The final price, any shipping costs and delivery times are confirmed in the proposal we send you before purchase.

SCIA may change products and prices at any time, without affecting proposals already confirmed.

5. Payment and delivery

Payment methods, any deposit and delivery are set out in the proposal. We deliver to Italy and other European Union countries.

For consumers, the risk of loss of or damage to the product passes to the customer when the customer, or a third party designated by them other than the carrier, takes physical possession of it.

6. Right of withdrawal

If you buy as a consumer at a distance (for example by email or phone), you may withdraw within 14 days of receiving the product, without giving any reason, by writing to info@skilifecoach.it.

During this period you may examine the product as far as necessary to assess its nature and characteristics; you may be liable for any loss in value caused by other handling.

If you withdraw, the direct cost of returning the product is borne by the customer. The right of withdrawal may be excluded for goods made to measure or clearly personalised, in the cases provided for by law.

7. Voluntary returns within 30 days

In addition to your statutory rights, we accept return requests within 30 days of delivery for unused products, with any tags and, where possible, in their original packaging. Return costs are borne by the customer.

8. Defective products and legal guarantee

If a product arrives damaged, defective or different from what was agreed, write to us at info@skilifecoach.it with your purchase reference and, where helpful, some photos: in these cases return costs are not charged to the customer.

Consumers benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity under the Italian Consumer Code (repair, replacement, price reduction or termination of the contract, as the case may be).

9. Refunds

If you withdraw, we refund the amounts due within the legal time limits, using the payment method used for the purchase unless otherwise agreed. We may withhold the refund until we receive the product or proof that it has been sent back.

10. Ski Life Coach experiences and services

Lessons, ski days and experiences are booked on request. The booking conditions published on the website and those stated in the proposal apply.

11. Intellectual property

Trademarks, logos, texts, photographs, videos and graphics on the website belong to SCIA or are used with the owners' permission. They may not be copied or used commercially without permission, except as allowed by law.

12. Third-party websites and services

The website may link to third-party services (social networks, partners, platforms). Those services are governed by their operators' terms; SCIA does not control their content.

13. Proper use of the website

It is forbidden to use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes, attempt unauthorised access, introduce harmful code or unlawfully collect other users' data.

14. Liability and force majeure

Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot be limited by law. To the extent permitted by law, SCIA is not liable for damage caused by improper use of the website or by events beyond its reasonable control.

15. Privacy and cookies

Data sent through the forms is processed to answer your request, in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Cookies and similar technologies are used according to the preferences set in the cookie banner.

16. Changes, governing law and disputes

We may update these Terms; the updated version is published with the date of the update. Italian law applies, without prejudice to the mandatory protections of the consumer's country of residence.
