The document defining the purpose and activities of the SCIA Association – Ski Life Coach Italy Association.

Art. 3 — Purpose of the association

The association SCIA – Ski Life Coach Italy Association, established in accordance with Art. 16, letter d) of Framework Law No. 81 of 1991, to maintain, protect, and enhance the role of the Freelance Ski Instructor, aims to represent and promote the role of the professional SKI LIFE COACH (SLC) Ski Instructor in the new historical context, with the aid of new communication technologies, with the intention of uniting the members in common goals, respecting the distinctiveness and individuality inherent in the work carried out to achieve them.

Art. 4 — Activities of the association

The Association may, by way of example and not limited to, for the purpose of achieving its corporate purpose, carry out the following activities, connected to the institutional activities and instrumental to the achievement of the associative purposes:

  • Bring together Ski Instructors – Ski Life Coaches (SLC) and provide them with technical and sports assistance, also through the organization of refresher and training courses;
  • Promote the activity of Ski Instructors – Ski Life Coaches (SLC) and their presence in tourist mountain areas;
  • Provide Ski Instructors – Ski Life Coaches (SLC) with all the services, organization, and materials necessary for the performance of their activity;
  • Enter into commercial collaboration agreements with national and international companies for the provision of services useful to the members;
  • Represent Ski Instructors – Ski Life Coaches (SLC) before local and national public institutions and bodies, and sports federations;
  • Protect, in every instance, the professional, economic, and technical interests of the members, and may also represent them in legal proceedings;
  • Organize rallies, meetings, and gatherings for its members;
  • Establish a web portal at the service of the association and for the implementation of its corporate purpose;
  • Provide for the distribution of publications, sound recordings, audiovisual materials, and other materials related to the purpose of the association, in addition to promoting and advertising its own activity and image also through websites, blogs, and online newspapers;
  • Develop collaborations with other bodies or trade associations, in Italy and abroad;
  • Support the proposed projects through conventions, subsidies, loans, agreements, and contracts;
  • Carry out any other activity connected to the institutional purposes, deemed useful for the achievement of the associative purposes.
